These fascinating structures are definitely worth the effort and expense of two flights in one day– make sure you see the Pyramid of Khufu at Giza, which is the largest Egyptian pyramid and one of the Seven Wonders of The World. The Sphinx is also located here and is the largest monolith statue in the world at nearly 67 ft high.
A Day Trip By Camel!
If you prefer to stay away from planes and automobiles then a peaceful trip through the Egyptian desert by camel is a great idea. The Sinai desert is around 30 minutes drive from Sharm where you can hop on a camel and be led through the desert by members of the local Bedouin. Often these trips take place at sunset and are followed by a Bedouin dinner and entertainment in a traditional Bedouin tent.
