Mauritius is an archipelago in the Indian Ocean. The island got its independence from the British in the year 1968.The languages spoken are French and Creole. The island has been described by a poet as the original heaven on the lines of which the heaven is created. The island has been divided into 9 divisions for the convenience of administration. The climate is tropical on account of its proximity to Tropic of Capricorn.
A traveler can plan the itinerary to Mauritius on the four directions North, East, south, and south-east. Grand Bay is a popular tourist place in the north. It has a beautiful beach by name “La Cuvette”.
