Lanzarote is part of the Canarian archipelago. A group of seven islands located off the coast of Africa which are often referred to as Europe´s Hawaii. Thanks to their volcanic terrain and great year round climate.
The Canaries first started to emerge as a popular holiday destination during the 1970´s – as package tourism started to take off in Spain.
