Holidays in Lanzarote

As a huge series of eruptions here in the 1730´s covered much of the interior in lava, whilst creating hundreds of new volcanic peaks in it’s wake.

As you’d expect from a well established tourist destination Lanzarote boasts great beaches – over 90 in fact. With some, such as Famara and Papagayo, regarded as amongst the best in the Canaries. The beaches here are also comprised of golden sands – as opposed to the black grains that predominate on the other islands.

Travel To Lanzarote

Lanzarote is just four hours flying time from the UK and Germany. The island’s two largest tourist markets.
