Las Vegas is known for its mass concentration of adult attractions and glamorous hotels and casinos. Often called the city of sin, the streets of decadence, and the epicenter of fun, planning your first trip to Las Vegas requires a sense of adventure and a willingness to try new things. There are a few (okay, more than a few) places on your must-see list when planning your virgin voyage to the land of sin and sun.

1. The Strip – studded with glamorous, illuminated coliseums of fun, the Las Vegas Strip is lined with top rated hotels and casinos and is a popular place to stay during your vacation. Hotels like the MGM Grand and the Bellagio are only a few of the many options available to you when you book on the strip. It also puts you within blocks of some of Las Vegas greatest attractions. Even if you book rooms outside of the strip, it is still a must see for every visitor to Las Vegas.

2. The Hotels Themselves – Las Vegas hotels are not just for sleeping and they make up a large bulk of Las Vegas entertainment. Taking time to walk through the many different hotel casinos, clubs, and shopping centers makes for an amazing adventure. Hotels like Circus Circus and the Sahara feature rides and arcade attractions for the kid in you and is perfect if you are traveling with children. Fremont Street – also called the Downtown area or the Fremont Street Experience, Fremont Street is popular with Las Vegas locals and people looking for a more relaxed, classic atmosphere than the glitz of the Strip. But remember, this is still Vegas. Fremont Street is home of the world’s largest television screen projected overhead and the Golden Nugget’s Shark Aquarium Swimming Pool. The booze is cheap, the parking is good, and everything is situated closer together than the marathon hike up and down the Strip.

So it’s the middle of the winter and Christmas break is just about upon us. You want to take this opportunity to go on vacation, but everything looks so expensive! If you are not quite sure how to find an affordable holiday this winter, take a look at the following tips. By doing a little research, you are sure to find a discounted holiday perfect for you.

When on the hunt for an affordable vacation, your first stop should be the deal hunting websites. There are many websites online that specialize in finding outrageously good vacation deals. Sometimes these deals are offered by travel companies trying to get customers during off season, while some of these deals are literally mistakes that the company is does not know about yet.

For example, by pure chance I was surfing a deal hunting website when a new post appeared describing a trip to Las Vegas for over 75% off. The trip package included airplane tickets, a hotel stay and a show. It almost looked too good to be true, but I purchased the package and next week was enjoying my incredibly discounted stay in Vegas. Afterwards, I found out that the reason why the trip was so cheap was because due to a posting mistake by the travel company, the price was missing one digit. So it is worth your time to visit deal hunting websites daily – you never know what you may find. And if you do find an awesome affordable holiday, act fast: deals this good tend to disappear quickly or get fixed.

Websites like Expedia and Priceline are also great places to find discounted hotels and plane tickets. Check out all the major airlines and see if any are offering discounted flights. Since winter is the season of Black Friday and After Christmas Day Sales, you may find more deals available now than during any other season.

Once you have found discounted plane tickets and an inexpensive place to stay, it is time to focus on making the rest of your vacation affordable. If you like to eat out, there are websites where you can purchase discounted gift cards or bid on coupons. You can find plenty of car rental discounts and coupons by searching online or looking through coupon books. Research the place you will be visiting and try to find free things to do or coupons for paid attractions.

Finding deals at the spur of the moment is not an activity for the weak hearted. It requires you to make split second decisions and sometimes purchase tickets weeks, if not months, in advance.

It is the most stunning city which has amazing casinos, strip clubs, dance bars, restaurants and excellent shopping centers. This city is often known as the Sin city because is provides a number of adult entertainment facilities.

There are few basic things that you should know if you are planning a trip to Las Vegas. These tips will surely prove beneficial to you once you have landed in Las Vegas.

  • Las Vegas is a very expensive city. Try to save as much money as possible. If you are on a budget vacation then make sure you check into a cheap hotel which is located in the center of the city. This will help you in saving money because then you do not have to waste unnecessary money on hiring a car.
  • While planning for a trip to Las Vegas make sure that you carry some comfortable and strong walking shoes with your self. There are strong chances that you will spend most of your time walking on the strip or probably waiting in huge lines. Comfortable shoes will make you feel at ease and you will be able to enjoy your vacation in a better way.
  • Another most important thing to remember before taking a trip to Las Vegas is that you should bring along clothes that would suit the weather conditions of Las Vegas.
